Genki Jaks – おめでとうございます

I attended the Genki Jaks school in Fukuoka full time for a month back in
the fall of 2014. The course used the Genki text books which worked well
for me as I had used them with other schools that I had studied with. We
covered about 1 chapter per week with some additional materials used as
well.

The Genki Jaks School has won the 2016 Star Award for the world’s top
language school. Congratulations. After being in the running for 8 years
you were certainly due. You must be very happy that all of your hard work
has been recognized by your peers.

To celebrate Genki Jaks is running a contest for a month’s free tuition.
This caught my interest as it comes at a time when I am once again
considering coming to Japan to study. The really exciting part for me is
that I am retiring in February and will actually have the time to do it.
Winning some free tuition would certainly help make that decision a lot
easier.

I really enjoyed studying at the Fukuoka school. The teachers were kind
and very helpful. I found the pace of the course to be very good as well.
The material was well presented and the variety of teachers that I had was
really beneficial. Fukuoka was a great city to visit and that really
encouraged me to get out and try what I had learned.

I also enjoyed the field trip that the school put on instead of having
classes on a holiday Monday while I was there.

All in all contest win or not I will be returning to study again in the
near future.
